Duncan is new to our team and is always clear, that unlike others, he is not an entrepreneur but an ‘intrapreneur’. His focus as one of our consultants is Business Development – adding value to the sales function. Duncan believes that, “showmanship and product knowledge are key skills in sales but a strong client focus culture is the often missing ingredient to sustainable growth”.
Duncan’s work experience includes seventeen years working with multinational clients on recruitment campaigns using multi-media, events and technology to achieve global targets. He has also worked with SaaS (Tech) businesses and Executive Education providers, doubling his last client’s revenue to over £4m pa in less than three years. Duncan spent his twenties testing out careers – accountancy, property and teaching. Not surprisingly he found a home with a careers publisher, where he led UK and overseas sales teams, becoming a Publisher, Partner and Director along the way. For leisure Duncan enjoys family time, endeavouring to keep fit through running and swimming and general ‘faffing’ in the garden.
